Recording of calls
Calls made to the customer service of the National Enforcement Authority Finland are automatically recorded and the caller is informed about this at the beginning of the call.
The recordings can be used for the purposes of managing official duties of the National Enforcement Authority Finland and improving the quality of customer service. Provision of customer service is within the scope of management of official duties assigned to the National Enforcement Authority Finland and exercise of public authority. The processing of personal data is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679), Article 6, Section 1, subsections c and e, and the Data Protection Act (1050/2018), Section 4(2).
Customer service call recordings are stored for six months, after which they are erased. Telephone number information can be used to conduct customer feedback surveys. Calls made to other numbers of the National Enforcement Authority Finland are not automatically recorded. The caller is always separately notified in individual cases of the call being recorded for reasons such as documentation of enforcement measures.
