Processing personal data in administrative matters

Your personal data is processed by the National Enforcement Authority Finland when you use our services e.g. when you:

  • apply for an office
  • Initiate an administrative complaint or a claim for compensation
  • are invited to a meeting or other event
  • invoice us for wages, expenses or claims for rent, for example
  • order certificates, document or other services that are subject to a charge.

We apply the EU GDPR and the national legislation that supplements it to all processing of personal data. We process personal data carefully and take the data subject’s rights into account.

We use your personal data in order to fulfil statutory rights and obligations, as well as obligations based on the document. Your personal data are also used for communication with you. Personal data can only be disclosed or their processing outsourced if the legislation allows it. If necessary, we disclose personal data to the enforcement authorities, financial institutions, Keva and the tax administration. We do not transfer or disclose the data in the register outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

The storage times for personal data are based on the information management system of the National Enforcement Authority Finland. After the end of the storage period, the information will be destroyed in a data secure manner, or it will be transferred to the National Archives of Finland for archiving.

You have the right to receive confirmation from us on whether we process your personal data or not. If your personal data are processed, you as a data subject have the right to access your own data. Upon your request, we will rectify or complete any inaccurate or incomplete personal data. Under certain conditions, we can erase personal data that is unnecessary or obsolete for the purpose of processing.
